Commencement

No. We hope our seniors will extend the invitation to family and friends. Guests are invited to join the community for both brunch and lunch after the ceremony.

We kindly ask that families RSVP for the Head of School’s Dinner for Seniors & Parents [Thursday night] by submitting the below form.

Please note: A hard copy RSVP card is included in the Commencement invitation mailed to families. Please do not mail your reply card if you submit the below form.

Family and friends who are unable to attend Commencement Weekend will be able to watch Baccalaureate and Commencement.

Seniors and their guests are invited to have brunch in Koo Dining Room beginning at 8:30 am. Highpoint Pictures will be photographing families from 8:30-9:15 outside Fuller Hall [optional], followed by a Class of 2024 photo [required] at 9:30. Please view the above schedule for both Thursday [May 23] and Friday [May 24].

Highpoint Pictures will be photographing families and graduate portraits on Commencement Day [Friday]. There is no charge to have photos taken and no forms are due in advance. Photos will be posted in a private online gallery on Highpoint’s website two-three weeks after Commencement for purchase [prints and/or digital files].

Before the Ceremony
Individual & Family Photos 8:30–9:15 am outside Fuller Hall. First come, first served. No appointments needed.

During the Ceremony
Each student will be photographed receiving their diploma.

After the Ceremony
Family photos are available immediately after the ceremony Bell Hill.

Please note Taking family photos AFTER the ceremony can be quite hectic. We strongly recommend coming early and having them taken BEFORE the ceremony instead.

Yes. Suffield Academy will use golf carts to help family members that require assistance around campus.

The ceremony will take place on Bell Hill. If there is poor weather, Commencement will take place inside Tisch Field House.

We respectfully ask that all seniors depart campus on Friday afternoon once the ceremony and lunch conclude.
