-Team Philosophy

While the Suffield baseball program has achieved considerable success over the past several seasons, wins and losses, while important, are not the primary focus of our program. It's our belief that with hard work, attention to detail and respect for playing the game the right way will come positive results. Each one of our ballplayers learns what it takes to succeed both on and off the baseball field.

-Team History

The Suffield baseball program has a long tradition of success. Most recently, the Tigers have amassed a 48-15 record over the past four years including four Cleary Division titles and one Western New England Prep Baseball League championship. Additionally, Suffield has qualified for postseason play the last seven straight seasons. Suffield graduates have gone on to play at such schools as Bryant, Babson, Brandeis, Air Force, Stetson, Bates, Colby, St. Anselm, Trinity, UCONN, Brown, Columbia, Amherst, Vermont, Clark, Post, Endicott and Salve Regina.

-Season Outlook

This season's Tiger squad will be looking to defend its 2013 Western New England Prep Baseball League Cleary Division title and continue its successful run of seven straight playoff appearances. Accomplishing this goal will be challenging as Suffield will play a competitive league schedule as well as several strong non-league opponents. The team returns four starters from last year's division championship squad with a group of returning players and newcomers looking to make an immediate impact this year and beyond. This group of ballplayers promises to bring an exciting brand of baseball to the diamond every game this season.
