Global Online Academy

Suffield Academy has partnered with Global Online Academy (GOA), a not-for-profit consortium of leading independent schools from around the world whose mission is to reimagine learning to empower students and educators to thrive in a globally networked society.

Taking online courses through GOA supports learning in a global setting, where students can dive more deeply into new or specific topics of interest that may not be available on Suffield’s campus, learning alongside peers from around the world.

Course offerings include Abnormal Psychology, Arabic, Filmmaking, International Relations, Medical Problem Solving, Race & Society, and many more. Each course is taught by a knowledgeable, trained faculty from a member school, and offerings include both semester- and year-long courses.

We are thrilled to offer Global Online Academy to our students at Suffield Academy! This is an incredible opportunity for our students to extend themselves beyond our academic curriculum and to explore course content in an elective format that feels relevant and impactful to an ever-changing global landscape. Kathleen mcnary pillsbury, director of online learning
