Suffield Academy has a tradition of academic excellence combined with a strong work ethic. We engender among our students a sense of responsibility—they are challenged to grow in a structured and nurturing environment. The entire academic, athletic, and extracurricular experience prepares our students for a lifetime of learning, leadership, and active citizenship. We hope that your child will have the opportunity to experience the true value of a Suffield Academy education for themselves.
When we were looking for a school, cost was important, but added value mattered more—both for now and for the future.

How to Apply for Financial Aid
Suffield Academy partners with Clarity to determine a family’s level of financial need, based on information that families share in the application [assets, income, expenses, and debts].
The deadline for completing the Clarity financial aid application is January 15, 2024.
Click on the above logo to access the Clarity Application and create an account.
The application typically takes 20-30 minutes to complete. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge.
After you complete and submit your financial aid application, please return to your dashboard and upload the required documents to your Clarity account.
If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at firstname.lastname@example.org or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish.
*Registered students need to submit a copy of their official 2022 tax return when ready. No financial aid award is final until all necessary documents are provided to Clarity and are visible through their application portal. If there are any special circumstances that are not addressed in your financial application, but you would like to be considered, please send a letter or email addressed to Tim Randall, Director of Financial Aid, detailing these issues.
All financial information that we receive is held in the strictest confidence, as are the decisions made by the Financial Aid Committee. Paperwork submitted through Clarity will only be seen by the members of the Financial Aid Committee and, in special cases, by the Head of School. It is also expected that families will keep in confidence financial arrangements made with Suffield.
