Apply

The Admission Committee seeks students who are committed to serious study, who have a sense of purpose, and who are interested in contributing to the school community. Students should have a good record both academically and personally, as well as supportive recommendations.

The first decision you will need to make before applying is whether you’ll be submitting an early decision or regular application. You can find clear directions on how to submit your application, and what is needed to apply, for each route below. After your application is submitted, admission decisions will be sent out by the dates listed in your application category.

Please refer to the dropdown that most closely fits your situation to find specific information.

The Cahn Scholars Program

The Cahn Scholars Program was established through gifts from many donors to recognize Hillary and Charlie Cahn's historic impact on Suffield and further strengthen the school's commitment to financial aid. The goal is to permanently carry forward the Cahn family's emphasis on kindness, respect, leadership, and effort by providing financial assistance to a group of students demonstrating these values and clear academic accomplishment. All applicants to Suffield Academy are automatically considered for the Cahn Scholars Program; no separate application is necessary.

The Cahn Scholars Program provides multiple forms of financial assistance including need-based financial aid, merit-based financial aid, and the possibility of additional support as needed during a students' time at Suffield Academy. Please contact Director of Enrollment Management Sean Atkins if you have a strong interest in the program.
