The Cahn Scholars Program
The Cahn Scholars Program was established through gifts from many donors to recognize Hillary and Charlie Cahn’s historic impact on Suffield Academy and further strengthen the school’s commitment to financial aid. The goal is to permanently carry forward the Cahn family’s emphasis on kindness, respect, leadership, and effort by providing financial assistance to a group of students demonstrating these values and clear academic accomplishment.
The Cahn Scholars Program provides multiple forms of financial assistance including need-based financial aid, merit-based financial aid, and the possibility of additional support as needed during a students’ time at Suffield Academy.
Cahn Scholars Program Eligibility
Through the Cahn Scholars Program, we welcome exceptional students who will contribute to our school and carry forward the values of kindness, respect, leadership, and effort. All applicants to Suffield Academy are automatically considered for the Cahn Scholars Program—no separate application is necessary.
Applications to Suffield are due January 15 and families who complete the process by this date will be notified of an admission decision on March 10. Please email Sean Atkins, Director of Enrollment Management if you have a strong interest in the program.
Suffield Academy has a crystal-clear sense of purpose. We are dedicated to helping each student succeed and focused on the distance they travel during their years here. Suffield combines challenging academics and high standards with an encouraging, supportive faculty and positive spirit. This atmosphere has helped the school reach new heights.
