Our Facilities

Tisch Field House
Our gorgeous 30,000 square-foot facility with two multi-purpose courts. Tisch Field House also contains Suffield’s extensive athletic training room, four squash courts, a conference room used for team meetings and film study, and offices for Suffield athletics department staff.

Kinne Court
Our newly designed court is located in the Ap Seaverns Athletic Center and is primarily used for basketball and volleyball.

Lowe Pool
The Suffield Academy pool was originally constructed in 1966 as a state-of-the-art facility with a wide deck space, one and three-meter boards, depth going to 12-feet and a large spectator gallery. In 2010 the swimming locker room was renovated, and the north wall with windows were replaced, dramatically increasing the amount of natural light that enters the pool area.

Barry Cleary Baseball Field
Suffield named its varsity baseball field after Barry Cleary, a long time retired faculty member and Suffield Academy parent.

David R. Holmes ’60 Turf Field
Converted to a synthetic turf in August 2018, Holmes field has an organic, water-retaining infill called TPE and a shock pad underneath the turf. With LED lights for our infamous night games, it is used for lacrosse, soccer, and football.
