Team members come from a variety of different sports backgrounds and all agree on one thing—lacrosse is fun! The girls’ JV lacrosse program is designed to include core stick skills and field strategies for new players as well as conditioning and endurance training. Players work on skills, body awareness, field movement, and strategic plays. The JV lacrosse program also incorporates essential skills of good sportsmanship, nutrition, health, and work/life balance. We look forward to a successful season of skill building, endurance training, teamwork, and FUN! Go Tigers!

Suffield’s junior varsity athletics teams welcome students of all ability levels to experience the excitement and challenge of interscholastic engagement. The goals at this level of sport are focused on amplifying transferable skills, such as teamwork and communication, exposing students to new and different extracurricular opportunities, and enhancing both personal and social growth through participation in team-based competition.
