The Tigers JV squad took a trip up 91 to battle Eaglebrook this afternoon. Eaglebrook played a disciplined game with tight defense. They went up early taking advantage of loose playing by the Tigers squad.
Once Suffield players remembered that shooting is an option when they have the ball, good things started to happen. Blake Wool '26 swam his way to two scores, Weck Pool '27 netted one, and once Aidan Ryder '26 decided to shoot away from the goalie, he collected three goals of his own. Standout playing came from Shalin Patel '25 who put four across the line. Haruka Kajiwara '24 added a goal as well. Fischer Stevens '26 held strong between the pipes in the deep end and added two goals, and Herman Troshin '24 was solid in the shallow end.
Eaglebrook will visit Suffield later this season in what is sure to be a heated rematch.

It was a beautiful sunny day in Deerfield, Massachusetts and our JV polo boys were ready to spend it inside. After learning some good game time lessons and how to work together in their first match-up against Eaglebrook last week, our athletes felt a newfound sense of poise and confidence heading into this game against the competitive Big Green.
Juniors Alex Cha and Shalin Patel continue to impress in their rookie season, playing strong defense and moving the ball up the pool with speed and determination. Cha had a spectacular second half and was able to net three goals.
Sophomores Aidan Ryder and Herman Troshin held strong in the set position throughout the game. With the help and hard work of their teammates, Troshin was able to put up four goals while in the set position and Ryder earned and impressive six. JV leaders Haruka Kajiwara and Max Giugliano were each able to score goals of their own, bringing the final score to 15-7.
