The Varsity football team lost at Exeter on Saturday afternoon 32-2. The Tigers struggled offensively throughout and wore down defensively late in the second quarter. The team will look to rally from a disappointing first effort when we host Brunswick Saturday afternoon at 3:00.

The Varsity football team lost the home opener to Brunswick on Saturday, 28-7. After falling behind 14-0, the Tigers rallied with a kickoff return for a touchdown to make the score 14-7 at halftime. Brunswick responded with an early 3^rd quarter touchdown to take back control of the game. Despite some flashes of improved offensive play, the Tigers were not able to find the endzone in the second half. The Tigers will host Deerfield Saturday afternoon at 4:00.

On Saturday, Oct 1st, the varsity football team lost to Deerfield in double overtime 28-27. The Tigers led by two touchdowns late in the third quarter, but Deerfield scored twice in the fourth quarter to even the score. After a scoreless first overtime, the teams traded touchdowns in the second. Deerfield kicked a successful extra point, and the Tigers were stopped on the two-point conversion attempt to win the game.

The boys varsity football team made the long trip to Wyoming Seminary and were defeated 28-14. The Tigers struggled to gain traction right from the start, falling behind 14-0 in the first half. Two second half scores were not enough to keep up with the home team on this afternoon. The Tigers return home to host BB&N on Parents/Reunion weekend Friday night at 7:00.
