NOTE TIME CHANGE TO 3:30, Berkshire School

14-3
The girls varsity lacrosse team took on Berkshire today in Sheffield at 3:30 PM. Today's game was a test of our team dynamic as the Tigers fell to Berkshire 14-3. This Berkshire team was very skilled at the center draw, and we struggled to earn and keep possession of the ball. Our defense worked extremely hard for all 50 minutes, and our midfielders worked well with one another. Our attack didn't see the ball on their end as frequently, but when they had opportunities to score, they took advantage.
We have some work to do! On to Cheshire on Wednesday!

9-10
The Tigers played Cheshire Academy today on Shay field at 3:00. We started the game strong with some phenomenal defense and a few incredible saves from first-year goalie Kathryn Clark. We were up 4-2 early in the first half, and kept the lead for most of the first half. Down by 1 goal at half, the Tigers fought in the second half to get their lead back, and even tied, but eventually fell to Cheshire by just 1 goal.
Our defensive players had a great game today, and showed all the improvements they have been making in practice. Katie O'Brien remains consistently our defensive leader on the field. Our attackers placed their shots well until the end, where we struggled to keep the ball in our possession and finish our offensive sequences.
