Team Overview
Team Philosophy
Suffield’s Varsity Tennis team competes with a four singles and three doubles non-repeating format, so ten girls start in each match. Practices typically involve a combination of instruction and drills, match-playing scenarios, fitness and footwork, and games. Each player focuses on improving their own game while supporting one another.
Season Outlook
The Suffield girls’ tennis team has a strong group of returning players, including Svetlana Shorina ’24, Madi Seivright ’24, and Felicia Hormann ’24. With an enthusiastic roster of new freshmen and sophmores to add to the mix, the team looks poised for a successful season.
