You may have heard about the recent reports ofEastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE)in Connecticut. EEE has been detected in mosquitoes recently in Massachusetts and in some Connecticut towns, mostly along the shoreline.
While there have been no cases reported in Suffield, we want everyone in to be aware of the issue and recommendations from the Department of Health and CDC. These include applying EPA-approved insect repellent and wearing long sleeves and pants, particularly before dawn and after dusk. You canvisit this link to the DPH websitefor further information. We will have insect repellent available around campus.
