was created by Dana & Mike McCreesh in 2005 to battle childhood cancer alongside their three year old son Brent, who was fighting stage IV Neuroblastoma. Today Brent is 16 and focused on school and chess, not about keeping his platelets up so he can get chemo—but the fight goes on. Brent is the younger brother of Madi McCreesh ’19. Madi was just four years old when TeamBrent
was founded and she knows that her brother is Living Proof that we make a difference. When Brent was diagnosed, the odds for his specific diagnosis were 15-20% five year survival—today a child with the same diagnosis has a 60% chance. This is an enormous increase, but it is our turn to pay this forward until no child dies of cancer.
One hundred percent of dollars donated to TeamBrent are passed through to TeamBrent’s partner organizations, the Pan-Mass Challenge & the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Follow us on Instagram: teambrent_
