Dining
Our community is large enough to allow for a richly diverse population, yet small enough to make every face on campus familiar—our commitment to sustaining a strong community is apparent in many school traditions. One of the most important and well-loved traditions is our family-style sit-down lunches. Students and faculty gather each day as a community in the Koo Family Dining Room, eat delicious and healthy meals, connect with new and familiar faces, and share announcements.
Suffield Academy understands the importance of providing balanced and nutritious choices in our dining services. We take great care to ensure our daily menus reflect personal food limitations and food restrictions. We believe a key to healthy eating is to take advantage of the variety of choices that are available in the dining hall. Our dining services staff takes great pride in their ability to offer good carbs, low-fat proteins, limited saturated fats, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and plenty of choices for calcium, and we offer in-house, hand-crafted specialty pizza baked in our own commercial pizza ovens.
