Leadership Day

Suffield Academy is proud of its unique four-year Leadership program focused on helping develop people with integrity who want to make a significant and positive impact on society. Grade 10: Grit ’N Wit
Sophomores navigated a campus-wide obstacle course and assisted with mini community service projects.

Grade 11: Zipline Excursion
Juniors traveled to Storrs Adventure Park to zipline through treetop trails.

Grade 12: White Water Rafting Adventure
Seniors rafted along the Deerfield River hosted by Crab Apple Whitewater.

Director of SOLO Josh Hillman shared “For a second year in a row, it was a gorgeous day to get outside and learn by experience! All four grades embarked on opportunities to try new things and bond with each other, all while practicing their interpersonal leadership skills. It was great to see our community gather in celebration of a new year full of encouragement and growth.”
