“All Together Now”, a global theatrical event by Music Theatre International, was performed across all 50 states and in over 40 countries on the second weekend of November. Suffield participated with an event in the Jeanice Seaverns Performing Arts Center on November 12. It included music from Mary Poppins, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, Frozen, Matilda, Les Misérables, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Jekyll & Hyde, and Waitress. The performance had in-person spectators and was livestreamed. Ticket sales were directed to support Suffield’s 2021-2022 student-selected community charity, Dove Youth Development.
Regarding the performance, Suffield’s Performing Arts Department Chair Tom Dugan said, “It was an incredible feeling to be back! There was so much energy from both the cast and the audience. It was clear that the interaction between performers and the audience is vital for any show. It was a wonderful evening in support of Dove Youth Development.” Kennedy Morris ’23 said, “I loved being a part of ‘All Together Now.’ It was a lot of work, but I had so much fun performing and it was a great way to help our school charity.”
Bravo to all of our performers!
