The Suffield Academy Dance Company performed two nights of “All You Need is Love” in the Jeanice Seaverns Performing Arts Center on February 22 & 23. The show featured various types of dance including tap, ballet, hip-hop, world modern, and Broadway jazz.
Sophie Winikur ’24 shared “Dance brings people together in a way that is unimaginable. One of my favorite parts of performing is the preparation that takes place the week before the show. We see the dances come to life with costumes and lighting.”
Ava Jacobson ’25 commented “This dance season brought together a group of passionate and creative individuals to perform an advanced showcase with the support and encouragement from our amazing choreographers Ally, Lexi, and Ms. Carey. I am so proud of our accomplishments and improvement as a group and loved getting to spend time with my peers that share my passion for dance.”
