On May 20, twenty-one Suffield Academy students performed in the spring Guitar Show in the Performing Arts Center. It was a wonderful way for the seniors to play together with their peers one last time before graduation.
Kennedy Morris ’23 said, “I have always loved being in Guitar Show—I’m so sad I just joined last year. I’m so glad we went out with a bang for my last show. I had a blast for my last time on the Suffield stage!”
Prior to Guitar Show, the 3rd Annual Arts Festival took place, celebrating the work of our senior visual and performing artists. Though it had to be moved inside to the Union because of rain, there was still much fun to be had, with jewelry and keychain making, snacks, and artwork for sale throughout the evening.
Anna Ziegler ’23 said, “The art festival—even though it was moved indoors—was a great success and an amazing way for the senior artists of Suffield to come together!”
Ellie Frisbie ’23 said, “I had so much fun being able to share and sell my art with my classmates! It was a great way to finish off my last art event at Suffield.”
Christian Varas ’23 said, “Good music, good people, and great art.”
Morgan Maglieri ’23 said, “I loved getting the opportunity to participate in the art festival this weekend. Not only did I get to display all my work from ceramics this year but also got the chance to sell my work. It was a really fun experience!”
