Arttitude

Arttitude is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making art therapy accessible to all through a blend of in-person workshops and comprehensive video tutorials. Founded in 2023 by Milly Dalida Janevathanavitya ’25, Arttitude organizes in-person art therapy workshops where youth instructors guide participants through Arttitude’s unique style of art therapy. In addition to workshops, the organization Milly has built also donates art therapy ‘first aid kids’ to communities in need and distributes art supplies to remote areas. “When I was younger I was a severe perfectionist, but watercolor painting showed me the beauty of mistakes and letting go. Having experienced the benefits of art therapy firsthand, my goal is for others to receive the same understanding and tools to implement into their own lives.” Milly has donated over four hundred art therapy kits in America, Thailand, Hong Kong, Myanmar, and India. It is also important to Milly to help bring Arttitude to the local Suffield area. She has worked with the Suffield Senior Center, Suffield by the River, Kent Memorial Library, and Christina’s House.
