Students Visit Disney Imagination Campus

Seventeen Suffield students went south with the Performing Arts Department over the winter long weekend. Students attended a three-day workshop focused on dance at the Disney Imagination Campus at Walt Disney World. During the dance workshop, students learned choreography from the Main Street Parade at Disneyland Paris and mastered performance elements that bring Disney storytelling to life through movement. Students had the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, gain valuable insights into the audition process, and receive career advice.

Chair of the Performing Arts Department Tom Dugan shared, "This was a great opportunity for students to spend the long weekend away from campus at one of the happiest places on earth! Any student could attend this trip—they did not need to be involved in the Performing Arts programs on campus. We look forward to returning next year and having even more students join us."
