English V Escape Room

English V Escape Room

Chair of the Performing Arts Department Tom Dugan took his English V class to an escape room in Windsor Locks last week. They had sixty minutes to solve the puzzles in the room and subsequently make it out! The description of the room was: “Deep in the nearby forest lies a legendary tale of greed, mystery, and buried treasure. Unravel this centuries-old tale in our largest, most complex adventure.” They escaped just at the hour mark. It was challenging but the group figured out the clues together and made it through the multi-room adventure. The trip took place following the class’s study of the short story “Memento Mori.” They will be continuing in the mystery genre later this month with a trip to see Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap at Hartford Stage.
