In-Person Classes Resume

Suffield welcomed students back to in-person classes resuming on January 28. The day was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as faculty eagerly awaited the return of their Tigers to the classrooms.

With the two-week cohort period and temporary remote learning schedule concluding, the winter term in-person academic schedule is in effect and can be viewed online at the Suffield Academy COVID-19 Information Hub. There, guests can access the academic schedule in addition to the latest Head of School newsletters, Tiger Pride Promise, and relevant information regarding the school’s COVID-19 arrangements and protocols.

Chloe Coffin is a sophomore from Fredericksburg, Virginia who is especially happy to be back on campus and involved in Suffield's in-person academic program. “I missed being at Suffield very much and especially my time in the art studio,” she says. “I missed seeing my friends and teachers and being involved with the community. Suffield has done a great job adapting to the new ‘normal’ and I am looking forward to all the fun activities planned for the months ahead.”

Athletics and extracurricular activities continue in the afternoons with dinner served daily from 5 to 7:30 pm.
