Many members of Suffield’s South Korean community gathered for a reception at Seoul’s JW Marriott Hotel on November 1. The event was hosted by Suffield’s Korean Parents’ Association, led this year by President Sunhye Oh. Sunhye is mother of Joseph Jung ’24. Head of School Charlie Cahn and Hillary Cahn attended along with Suzy Vogler P’11, Vice President of Suffield’s Board of Trustees, and Director of Admissions Sean Atkins. In addition to sharing an update about Suffield and goals for the school’s future, alumni and guests learned from Suzy about the Cahn Scholars Fund and offered to help support this endowment project. Charlie Cahn commented that, “It was wonderful to visit Seoul again for our first time since 2020. Our families and alumni are deeply proud of the school, and it was great to see and feel their spirit.”
