Breast Cancer Awareness

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM) is an annual campaign organized by the major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease while raising funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. The campaign also offers information and aid to those affected by breast cancer.

Suffield Academy proudly recognizes NBCAM each October throughout its entire community. Maeve Moylan '22 and Caroline Greco '22 helped lead and organize this years event at Suffield. All funds raised are directed to supporting NBCAM with donations made to the Helen and Henry Gray Cancer Foundation through Hartford Hospital.  Suffield Academy believes that together we are stronger than cancer.
