Suffield Breaking Records
During Suffield Academy’s 2023 track and field season, two records were broken.
Keyvanna Bennett ’24 broke the school’s 100-meter record. It was 12.4 seconds set in 1996 and is now held by Keyvanna with 12.31 seconds. Keyvanna also holds the New England and school record for the shot put—40’ 1”. Maeve Curtin ’24 broke the 300-hurdle record three times this season, with the new record being 49.17 seconds. Congratulations to Keyvanna and Maeve.
On May 20, 2023 the boys’ and girls’ track teams will travel to Williston Northampton School to compete in the Division II NEPSTA Track & Field Championship. Good luck, Tigers!
