9th Annual Telethon in support of Help Hope Live

Telethon is a LIVE annual event aimed at raising funds to help a student-selected charity by showcasing the talents of our students. This year’s charity is Help Hope Live [Adrian’s Fight Against SMA] in support of six-year-old Adrian Diaz.
Adrian’s journey with Spinal Muscular Atrophy [Type 2] first began he when he was eighteen months old, causing him to lose the ability to stand, crawl, roll over, and sit unassisted. Since his diagnosis in 2017, Adrian and his family have been traveling from their home in Western Massachusetts to Boston Children’s Hospital several times a week. Funds raised by the Suffield Academy community for Help Hope Live [Adrian’s Fight Against SMA] will help pay for treatments, medications, and therapies that are not covered by insurance. We truly hope many members of the extended Suffield Academy community will watch Telethon and join our students in supporting Adrian.
