Celebrating Senior Artists

Celebrating Senior Artists

Each year, the visual arts department celebrates senior artists with a series of gallery exhibitions. These showcases provide students the unique opportunity to share their art in a special setting.

Each show is designed and curated by the students and are encouraged to advertise their exhibitions and host a reception. This year’s series has already featured exhibitions by Claire Mastella ’25, Alijah Sanford ’25, Jerry Bao ’25, Nyah Bailey-Burton ’25, George Hunt ’25, Chloe Lawrence ’25, and Kristian Yan ’25.

The gallery has been filled with a wide range of artistic voices and visions. Jerry Bao, who displayed a series of photographs taken around the world, reflected, “What truly makes a picture great is the story behind it… the photo becomes more than just an image—it becomes a piece of my perspective, a reflection of how I see the world.”

Kristian Yan, whose minimalist street photography captures the quiet beauty of everyday life, shared “I am drawn to the subtle narratives that exist in the overlooked corners of daily life… where visual tension meets delicate harmony.”

The senior art shows will continue throughout the spring term in the Lee Roberts ’74 Gallery in The Tremaine Visual Arts Center.
