Celebrating Suffield | Seoul, Shanghai, and Hong Kong

Suffield parents and alumni gathered for a reception at the Grand InterContinental Hotel Parnas in Seoul, South Korea on November 14, 2025. The reception was organized by Suffield’s Korean Parents’ Association, effectively led this year by Seonghee Park P’27. Suffield’s Korean Parents’ Association has existed for 19 years.

Seonghee welcomed all the guests and introduced Trustee Suzy Vogler P’11 who spoke about Suffield’s important and long connection to Korea. Director of Enrollment Management Sean Atkins and Director of Development Phil Riegel shared thanks and introduced Head of School Charlie Cahn. Charlie expressed gratitude for the sincere commitment of the Korean alumni and parents to Suffield, and he spoke about the intentional plan to dramatically enhance the campus over the past two decades to ensure a world-class academic environment for Suffield students. The Seoul event came after visits with parents, alumni, and prospective families in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
