Suffield on the Road | Denver

The Suffield gathering at the Shifrin home in Denver was a special evening, filled with meaningful conversation and a shared appreciation for Suffield Academy. Hillary Rockwell Cahn ’88, P’18,22 and Phil Riegel ’87, P’20, ’24 joined Matt Shifrin ’05 and his wife, Amanda, who created an elegant and welcoming atmosphere that encouraged connection and celebration. With Suffield memories reflected throughout the evening, the event captured the spirit of what makes the Suffield community so exceptional.

Rosemary Chandler ’09 shared, “It was such a joy to reconnect with Suffield friends and meet even more alumni here in Colorado. It was especially meaningful to celebrate Hillary’s remarkable legacy at Suffield, and I am so grateful to Matt and his family for hosting such a wonderful gathering.”

As president of the Alumni Council of Advisors, Matt hosted with his trademark enthusiasm and deep pride in the school. The evening was a testament to the strength of the Suffield network and a meaningful reminder of the school’s core values: kindness, respect, leadership, and effort. The Shifrin’s hospitality made the evening all the more special.
