Fall Family Weekend

Fall Family Weekend

Suffield Academy welcomed more than three hundred families to campus for Fall Family Weekend. The crisp autumn air, paired with the spirit and energy on campus, made it a wonderful celebration marking the halfway point of the fall term.

Families, faculty, and alumni gathered Friday evening as the girls’ soccer and field hockey teams competed under the lights. As Saturday unfolded parents had the opportunity to meet with classroom teachers and faculty advisors, participate in a State of the School discussion with Head of School Charlie Cahn and members of the Class of 2026, and attend sessions on the college admissions process and the athletics recruiting landscape.

Additional offerings throughout the weekend included a performing arts showcase, yoga in the Hillary Rockwell Cahn ’88 Balance Barn, a chance to explore and climb at the Courtney Robinson ’88 Outdoor Leadership Center, and an exciting slate of athletic contests on Saturday afternoon.

Following a spirited and engaging weekend, students departed for a few days of rest before resuming classes on Wednesday, October 22.

We hope parents will save the date for our Spring Family Weekend, which will take place April 24–25. The highlight will be the 2026 Parents’ Association Auction.
