Student Leaders Return to Bell Hill

Suffield students began arriving this week for the 2026–2027 academic year, with dormitory proctors and Leadership Program teaching assistants among the first on campus for orientations related to these key roles.

Dorm proctors spent time together with Dean of Students & Campus Life Greg Lynch and Assistant Dean of Students Kathleen Pillsbury. Chloe Li ’28 shared “It was so special to be back on campus early and learn more about the important responsibility of being a proctor. Spending time with the other proctors during training was both fun and refreshing. I’m looking forward to taking on this role and especially excited to welcome new girls to my dorm.”

Director of College Counseling & Leadership Ann Selvitelli and Leadership Program faculty members led the teaching assistants through activities and conversations designed to prepare them for their work this year. “The retreat was a great experience and helped us get ready to be TAs this year,” said Max Depealteau ’28. “I appreciated the time getting to know my fellow TAs and leadership teachers.”

With energy high and a strong sense of purpose, Suffield’s student leaders are ready to welcome the community and help set a positive tone for the year ahead.
