February 14 marked the end of the season for Suffield Academy’s robotics team, also known as Tiger Works.
From six months of troubleshooting to taking home the Connect Award at their final competition, this year was a massive learning curve for the group. As a team of eight, with the majority joining robotics for the first time, they went from "How does this work?" to building a fully functional and working robot.
The team would like to express a huge thank you to their mentors and the FIRST community (the world’s leading youth robotics community) for their support. While they are finished building the robot and competing for this academic year, Tiger Works will be back in the fall and they encourage everyone to come check out the Robotics Club.
