On the basketball court, both the girls’ and boys’ teams advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NEPSAC basketball championships. The girls competed in the Class B bracket as the #2 seed and faced Berkshire School, the #7 seed, in a tightly contested game that ended in a 45–40 victory for the Bears. The boys earned a spot in the Class A tournament as the #7 seed and traveled to Phillips Academy Andover to take on the #2 seed. Andover prevailed in a high-scoring matchup, 84–78.

The riflery team concluded an outstanding season this winter, finishing with a 6–0 regular-season record and capturing both the Prep School Gallery Match title and the High School State Championship. Throughout the season, the team demonstrated consistent focus, discipline, and steady improvement. Riflery is a precision sport that rewards patience and attention to detail, and this year’s team approached each match with a strong commitment to preparation and teamwork. Their efforts culminated in an undefeated regular season and two major championship victories. Several Suffield athletes were also recognized individually for their performance across the state this season.
