Advanced Studio Art and Photography Trip to Northampton
Advanced studio art and photography students recently visited Northampton, Massachusetts to explore both modern and traditional art at The Smith College Art Museum. Visual Arts Department Chair Jenny Graham shared “Photography students participated in a street photography project, capturing images on both black and white and color film, allowing them to experiment with different styles. Meanwhile, advanced studio art students focused on analyzing artworks and practicing plain heir drawings, enhancing their critical thinking and observational skills.” Back on campus, students are eager to print their images and express the vibrant essence of Northampton through their artwork.
