Alumni Spring Gatherings

Alumni Spring Gatherings

Suffield alumni gathered in Washington, DC, and Boston this April for two memorable evenings celebrating connection, community, and shared pride.

In Washington, DC, more than thirty alumni came together for a special reception that highlighted the strength of the Suffield network across generations. The evening was especially meaningful for a group of young alumni from the Class of 2022, many of whom are preparing to graduate from college this spring and were excited to attend their first event as alumni. With attendees representing classes from 1961 through 2022, the gathering offered a powerful reminder of the lifelong bonds formed at Suffield. Ken Scheinblum ’76 shared, “It was a real pleasure having the opportunity to speak with other alums and hear about their interesting lives.”

That same spirit carried north to Boston, where more than seventy alumni and parents joined Hillary ’88 and Charlie Cahn, along with Phil Riegel ’87, Adam Pistel ’08, Colin Dowd ’12, and Drew Gamere ’93 at Central Wharf in Boston’s Financial District. Generations of Tigers reconnected, reminisced, and strengthened ties, creating an atmosphere full of energy and camaraderie.

We hope you’ll join fellow alumni at a ballpark near you this spring and summer. Gatherings are planned for three games: Chicago Cubs [May 2], Boston Red Sox [June 3], and New York Yankees [June 17]. We look forward to seeing you there.
