What do you love about where you are from?
I'm from Rhode Island. I love that it's a small state, so everything is within a 30–45-minute drive for the most part. There are beautiful beaches in Westerly, Charlestown, Narragansett and Newport. Providence is a neat little city with a lot of character and great food. The city is a pretty diverse so you can experience many different cultures within close proximity.

Where is your favorite spot on Suffield Academy’s campus?
The balcony on the 4th floor of Memorial. It's easily the best view on campus!

What is the first thing you do every morning when you get to work?
Fill up my Stanley (no pun intended) with some cold water then check my email.

Who is your favorite artist?
This is a tough one for me because I love music and listen to a lot of different genres and music from different time periods. However, Burna Boy is my favorite current artist.

Which of your roles at Suffield Academy do you relish the most?
I love all my roles at SA but I would say coaching football is my favorite role. I started playing when I was six and had an opportunity to play and coach at the college level. I believe the game teaches a lot of life lessons such as discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and you learn a lot about yourself and others through competition.

If you could recommend one book to Suffield Academy students, what would it be?
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale. The book serves as a powerful reminder of the influence our thoughts have on shaping our experiences and ultimately our success.

What is something you believe one can never over-invest in?
Time with your family and loved ones!

What is your favorite motto?
WIN THE DAY! Daily wins lead to long-term wins and it's easier to achieve a long-term goal when you break it down into smaller steps.

What is your favorite food?
Jollof Rice! Jollof rice is a West African dish made in Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria and probably a few other West African countries. I'm a first generation American, both my parents were born in Monrovia, Liberia so growing up I ate a lot of Liberian dishes. Jollof rice was always my favorite.

What are your summer plans?
I will be coaching a few football camps this summer and running a 7 on 7 football league in Providence. Other than that, I'll be spending a lot of time with my wife Swailaine and my daughter Suriyah.
