Going into the Spring with new coaches and new players, there was a lot of work to be done. The Suffield Academy boys’ lacrosse team started their season with a trip to Pennsylvania. They worked hard and prepared for the upcoming season with three games and team bonding activities. As they continued to work after preseason, the team practiced together every day with the goal of succeeding in the two games each week.
Postgraduate and co-captain Kyle Dunn talked highly about the group of boys that make up the team. He says his favorite part of the season has been practices with co-captain and senior Joey Brook, where they collaborate to lead the team with a sense of humor and strong work ethic. The soon to be graduating seniors have done a good job of leaving their impact on the team and will be missed as teammates and essential players. That being said, the underclassmen show a lot of talent and a bright future for the program.
With the new coaches and new players, the team had a lot of shaping up to do. They went practice by practice and worked to learn how to play with one another. The boys’ lacrosse team is a good group of boys competing and working to win for the Tiger name.
