On April 21-22, after the publication of midterm grades, parents were welcomed to campus for the annual Spring Parents’ Weekend. They were invited to attend classes, watch extracurriculars, and talk to advisors. Each class was thirty minutes and students showcased their work through various projects. In Leadership, students participated games and showed off community service projects. Visual Art classes presented their artwork, and Performing Arts held queues of music and entertaining shows.
Parents had the opportunity to linger in the afternoon to watch sports practices and games, as well as showcases from art extracurriculars. In the evening, the Parents’ Association held an auction for the to raise money for the school. The weekend wrapped up on Saturday with more parent-advisor meetings. All in all, students had fun showing their parents around, and parents enjoyed the opportunities to get a glimpse into their children’s daily life at school.
