Koo Family Dining Room

We believe a key to healthy eating is to take advantage of the variety of choices that are available in the dining hall. Our dining services staff takes great pride in their ability to offer good carbs, low-fat proteins, limited saturated fats, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and plenty of choices for calcium. Local dairy farm Trinity Farms provides nutritious Greek-style yogurt and delicious pesto sauces. Specialty pastas are made locally at Carla’s Pasta of South Windsor. In addition, we offer in-house, hand crafted specialty pizza baked in our own commercial pizza ovens.

LUNCH Sit-down: Monday & Tuesday / Thursday & Friday: 12:15 pm-1 pm    Buffet style: Wednesday & Saturday: 11:30 am-12:45 pm

    Suffield Academy is steadfast in its commitment to the environment and the dining services is no exception. We are constantly evaluating how to optimize our processes of reducing, reusing, and recycling. For example, all of our trash bags and plasticware are biodegradable and we fully support the use of reusable mugs campus wide. We also work with local farmers whenever possible to reduce the overall impact on the environment. We are extremely proud of our mission to remain green.
  • + Food Allergies

    Our staff makes accommodating for specific dietary restrictions a priority. Each day there are appropriate vegetarian and gluten-free and dairy-free options. We take special care to ensure all of our baked goods are nut free. Sandwich breads, rolls, and donuts are baked locally and delivered daily.
