Orange Sheets for Seniors
Transcript Request Forms (“Orange Sheets”) for applications with NOVEMBER 15 deadlines are due to your college counselor on NOVEMBER 1. If you have already submitted your orange sheet(s) for a college with a November 15 deadline, you do not have to do it again.

Seniors - Application Help Night
The last application help night for applications due November 1 will be next Thursday, October 26 in the Hoffman College Counseling Center from 6:30-8:00 pm. Seniors with a November 1 deadline should plan to attend. Bring your laptop, a credit card, and your phone in case we need to call your parents! There will be another application help night on Friday, November 10.

Emerson College Information Night
Emerson College will be hosting their Hartford area “On The Road Information Session” here at
Suffield Academy in Tisch Auditorium on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. This event is open to the public, but current Suffield students and families are welcome to attend. If interested, please visit Emerson College’s undergraduate admissions page online and register for the event in the “Emerson On The Road Events” section.

December 9, 2017 ACT for Juniors
The registration deadline for the December ACT is November 3 and the late registration deadline is November 17 (requires a late fee). The November test is offered at Suffield Academy so testers should be sure to register using Suffield Academy 239890 as their 1st choice center; if a 2nd choice is needed, please select Univ. of Hartford 006060. Register early for the best chance at your 1st choice test center. Also, always remember to register for the ACT with Writing!

“College Visits” section of NAVIANCE. If you have a class at the time of the visit, you must get
approval from your teacher to meet with the representative. These visits are informational in nature, last approx. 30 mins., and are conducted in the College Counseling Office.

Saturday
Six Flags Fright Fest – (Agawam, MA)
Fright Fest at Six Flags New England is one of the most terrifying Halloween events in the
world! With numerous horrifyingly delightful haunted mazes, shows and rides, you and
your friends will have the fright of your life. This trip will leave from in front of Brewster
at 6:30 pm and will cost $40 to enter the park. Tickets will be ordered in advanced and
your student account will be charged. Please bring money for food or to enter the Haunted
House, if you choose. Sign up in the Six Flags conference by Friday at 3:00 pm.

Movie and Popcorn – (Student Union)
Do you love to hate scary movies or hate to love them? With Halloween right around
the corner, head up to the Union with your friends and gear up for an enticing
Halloween themed movie. Popcorn and slushies will be served and the snack bar will be
open.

Open Gym - (Tisch Field House)
Bounce by the Field House to challenge your friends in 2v2 or to just simply shoot around. The Field House will be open from 9:00 – 11:00 pm.

Movie Trip - (Enfield, CT)
Looking to catch up on the latest movies? Sign up today for the Enfield movie trip.
The bus leaves at 6:30 pm.

Enfield Trip – (Enfield, CT) Sign up for a toaster trip across the bridge and enjoy the best of what Enfield has to offer. The toaster leaves at 8:00 p.m. from in front of Brewster. The trip is limited to the first 14 that sign up.

Holyoke Mall– (Holyoke, MA)
The Holyoke Mall is Western New England's largest shopping destination. At
Holyoke Mall, you'll find an impressive selection of retail stores, services and
restaurants to make your shopping experience a truly exceptional one! The bus
leaves from Brewster at 12:00pm.

Sand Volleyball – (Sand volleyball court, by the JV Soccer field)
The sand volleyball court is now open! Enjoy the last warm day for a while and grab a
group of friends and head over to the pit located by the JV soccer fields. POD will have
volleyballs for you to sign out to use.

Tiger Taxi – (Enfield Mall, Best Buy Plaza, Staples Plaza, Costco’s Plaza)
Need a few items for your room? Want to catch a movie? The Tiger Taxi will be running this Sunday.

Open Gym – Take advantage of this opportunity and play a few more games of squash or basketball, or hit the weights and get ready for the season. The gym, field house, and weight room will be open from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

NFL and TV in The Union –  (The Union)
Week 6 is upon us and every game still matters. Who will prevail: The Patriots take on the Jets at 1:00 pm and the Steelers will try to hold the Chiefs at 4:25 pm. Come to the union and catch all the action on the 10-foot projector in the Union!
