After a beautiful drive out to Berkshire and a breathless walk of the New England XC race course, the lady Harriers took to the line to race. After an abbreviated warm up, the team started the race strong. A strong Tiger pack chased Berkshire's number 1 for the first mile then the girls spread out. Izzy Dutranoit '19 blistered a very swift final 800 meters to grab 4th place in 23.27. Lexi Roberts '20 worked through knee pain to grab 5th in 23.29. Megan Alberding '19 ran a steady pace to grab 7th in 23.24 and Becca Bauer '19 bounced over the rocks and trails to grab 9th in 24.11. Caroline Walsh '20 ran sub 8 minute miles to grab 10th and Casey Eskridge '20 adopted a new race strategy well and started at a swifter pace. Gabriella Tosone '20 fought hard every step to finish 13th, Katherine Kelley '18 grabbed 15th and Sarah Kurbanov '21 placed 16th. Carlin Molander '18 turned an ankle but still powered through the course. Thanks to the fans who came to cheer and bring yummy treats to enjoy on a beautiful day on the cross country trails.
