Strong race for the Tiger Harriers at Berkshire...
On Saturday the boys cross country team traveled to Sheffield, MA to take on the Berkshire Bears and came home with the win. Ethan Ash '20 dominated the Berkshire course from the first hundred meters. Ash ran strong leading the field home by half a minute. Marcus Milo '18 continued his phenomenal senior season with a third place overall with Nick Briones '20 only five seconds behind finishing fourth overall. Dominic Colangelo '19 ran 50 seconds faster than his previous best on this course followed by Bobby Flynn '19 who ran over four minutes faster than the last time he ran this course. Our top five closed up our win with Stanley Huang '20 and Mike Robidoux '18 finalizing the top seven. Vaughn Rogers '19 had his best race of the season, only 18 seconds off his all time personal best times which were run on much faster courses and most impressively ran the entire race with a smile on his face.
Jim Hou '21 continues to impress and worked hard with John Killam '18 over the course. Jim shows much promise and John has been a great captain, running consistent times all season. Jake Selbst '18 and Nick Selvitelli '20 ran hard together both running their fastest times this season, Jake taking over two minutes off from his last race and Nick shaving a solid 20 seconds off from last week. Eli Li '21 is having a great first year running only eight seconds off his fastest time. Daniel Ennis '21 was over ten seconds faster than last week and also faster than his brother on the same course. Kush Shah '19 was close to his best time on the course and put out a solid effort. James Woolley '21 continues to run under 30 minutes for every race no matter the difficulty. James showed great determination and we were all proud to cheer him in.
