Suffield Boys run hard at Salisbury...
On Saturday the Boys Cross Country team took on the boys of Salisbury School in a dual meet. Nick Briones '20 led the Tigers to a hard fought win on the difficult Salisbury course and finished third overall. Milo Marcus '18 continued his strong season and held on to fourth place only three seconds behind Nick. Shane Donahue '19 and Bobby Flynn '19 ran close to each other the entire race and took fifth and sixth with Shane only passing Bobby in the last few meters. Kevin Kuzmeski '18 clinched the win closing up the scoring with the eighth overall place and fifth for the team. Michael Robidoux '18 was in a photo finish with two Salisbury runners only seconds behind Kevin. Stanley Huang '20 ran a solid race completing the top seven and was followed very closely by Jim Hou '21, who in his first year of cross country has had an amazing season thus far. John Killam '18 continued to impress running strong and over a minute in front of his next teammate. Vaughn Rogers '19 and Nick Selvitelli '20 blazed to the finish closing out the top 20 in the race. Daniel Ennis '21 and Eli Li '21 ran extremely well together with Daniel only nipping past Eli at the last possible moment. Jake Selbst '18 ran despite not being 100% fit and was a real team player on the course encouraging Suffield and Salisbury boys alike. Kush Shah '19 finished in the top 30 and was followed in by James Woolley '21 who has continued to persevere through ankle and hip pain. Sam Ingalls '20 had a fantastic start to the race but the root covered Salisbury trail had other plans, Sam had to finish in a walk.
