Brittney is originally from Newark, New Jersey but her family hails from the Dominican Republic. A proud member of Suffield’s Class of 2014, she played on the varsity volleyball team and actively participated in the school’s guitar shows and choirs. She later attended the University of Richmond, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in both Mathematics and Physics. A recognized Bonner Scholar while at Richmond, she dedicated four years teaching supplemental math lessons to students of inner city public schools—mending the opportunity gap for at-risk middle school youths.
Brittney joined our mathematics department in 2018 and coaches volleyball and basketball. She enjoys traveling and exploring new regions, exciting foods, dancing, and baking. Brittney is a dorm parent in Kotchen, where she lives with her dog Jax.
