A native of South Windsor, Connecticut, Mandi is a graduate of East Catholic High School. In 2011 she received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Quinnipiac University, and in 2012 she received a Master of Arts in Teaching. Mandi is currently spending her summers studying at the Bread Loaf School of English to earn a master’s degree in English.
Mandi coaches junior varsity volleyball and is a dorm associate in Rockwell. She lives on campus with her golden retriever Chase.
Brian grew up in neighboring Ellington, Connecticut, and majored in mechanical engineering at Penn State University. He then worked for Westinghouse Power Generation and Motorola Semiconductor as an engineer in Orlando, Charlotte, and Austin. After finishing his MBA at the University of Texas, he earned his teaching certificate and began teaching mathematics at the high school level. Brian is a passionate educator who strives to instill confidence and creativity in students’ problem-solving skills. He has coached math teams, Math Olympiads, and cross country for almost a decade.
Brian is a dorm associate in Rockwell Hall, and enjoys coaching volleyball and basketball. He and his wife Sandy live on campus and enjoy spending time with their three children: Jacob, Ava, and Michael. The entire family enjoys hiking in New England and most recently hiked Mt. Washington together, staying overnight at the Lake-of-the-Clouds Hut near the summit.
