Weekend Sign-Out Procedures

Our boarding students are welcome to take weekends away from campus beginning September 20. Students are able to depart campus after their last commitment on a Saturday [classes, athletics, other required activities]. Below highlights the sign out procedures for any boarding student who would like to leave campus and ways to contact the Dean of Students Office.

·Students must complete a weekend form in the Dean of Students Office by 3:00 pm on Thursday prior to the weekend.

·Families are required to call or email the Dean of Students Office to give permission by 3:00 pm on Thursday prior to the weekend.

·If a student has been invited to somewhere other than home, the host family must also call or email with an invitation by 3:00 pm on Thursday prior to the weekend.

·All students on a weekend are due back to campus by 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. Students will check in with their dorm parents at the beginning of study hall at 8:00 pm. Parents assume responsibility for students in their care while on a weekend.

·Boarding students are allowed to take a day leave [not overnight] on either Saturday or Sunday [as long as it does not conflict with school obligations] by signing out with the person on duty in the Student Union.  Both the student and family member signing them out should be present in the Union. They are due back to school by check in that night [11:00 pm on Saturday and 7:30 pm Sunday].
